Video / Photo to DVD Services

We can take your home videos, photos, and slides, and create custom DVD’s with music of your choosing to make a unique family experience of events or electronic collages. These can be used to send to relatives and friends or an organization can use them for promotional materials. We also have the added bonus to prepare these video / slideshows for delivery via a web site.

What we do: Take the source material you provide, video, photos, slides, negatives, text, music, and convert them to an electronic format for editing. Then we clean up and turn them into videos in a common movie format. We then stitch these together in a easily navigable format and burn them to a DVD. This are “Recorded” DVD’s that play in any DVD player more than a few years old.* We label and create disk cases to make the final product look great sitting in with the rest of your DVD collection. We can then make as many duplicates as you need. Costs: There are many variables that can effect the final cost so this is difficult to list exact prices but we will be happy to review your materials and give you a more accurate estimate at no charge.

If all the items are in standard format and / or in good shape, then editing time is reduced and the overall cost is much less. For a rough estimates you can figure about $200 per 30 minutes of good video, 25 cents per electronic photo, 60 cents per negative / slide, and $1 per hardcopy photo or image. Once the master DVD is created you can figure a cost of about $10 to $20 per additional copy depending type and quantities. Larger quantities can be sent to a duplication facility for a much larger discount.

Production Time: Again this depends a lot on the items listed for costs above. With good quality materials, you can figure 2 to 4 weeks to create the master DVD. From there duplication is dependant on quantity but is less than a week upon having an approved master. Rush orders can be completed with a surcharge of 25% on top of the normal costs.

* Recorded DVD’s are what you see of any DVD that was created in quantities less than a few thousand. The “Pressed” DVD’s of large distributions (movies, computer applications, etc) will play in any DVD player but are expensive to duplicate so it is only feasible in very large quantities.
